Hi, I’m Arthur Vyncke!
I’m a Belgian photographer with a lifelong fascination for capturing moments through both photos and videos.
My photography journey really began in the summer of 2022, following two long and stressful years of the Covid pandemic. Wanting to try new things, I decided to finally learn how to properly use my camera to shape my pictures the way I wanted them.
I started with the old Samsung bridge camera that I had purchased way back in 2014. As an aviation enthusiast -amongst other things- I was then drawn to the Lumix FZ82 for its long focal length, which was well-suited for the types of photos I wanted to take.
I ended up buying it a few months later.
Since then, I have been trying things and learning, and I will be upgrading to a Canon EOS R50 this summer. The compact and cheaper sensor of the FZ82, along with having to shoot in JPEG due to the absence of a lens correction profile, has been limiting my photo opportunities and editing capabilities.
I want to get out of my niches and learn more about different types of photography as well as deeper editing, and I’m excited to keep this journey going.

Je suis un photographe belge. Fasciné depuis toujours par la capture de moments aussi bien en photos qu’en vidéos, mon parcours photographique a véritablement débuté à l’été 2022 après deux longues années stressantes liées à la pandémie de Covid. Souhaitant explorer de nouvelles choses, j’ai décidé d’apprendre enfin à utiliser mon appareil photo proprement pour modeler mes images comme je le souhaitais.
J’ai commencé avec le vieil appareil photo bridge Samsung que j’avais acheté en 2014. Passionné d’aviation, entre autres, j’ai ensuite été attiré par le Lumix FZ82 pour sa longue focale, bien adaptée aux types de photos que je souhaitais prendre. Je l’ai finalement acheté quelques mois plus tard.
Depuis, j’ai essayé et appris beaucoup de choses, et je passerai au Canon EOS R50 cet été. Le capteur compact et moins cher du FZ82, ainsi que la nécessité de photographier en JPEG en raison de l’absence de profil de correction d’objectif limitent mes possibilités de prise de vue et mes capacités de retouche.
Je souhaite sortir de mes niches et en apprendre davantage sur les différents types de photographie ainsi que sur l’édition plus approfondie, et j’ai hâte de continuer ce voyage.
